A nice little kiosk serving proper South Indian food. We enjoyed some nice and crispy ghee dosa and soft podi idlis and guntapunganalus they all paired well with their chutney and it was amazing. They have very little seating but the food is great..,

House of Hyderabad - a little pop-up store in Fenham that has raving reviews - superb South Indian food at the best prices I’ve ever seen 🔥
It’s run by a brother and sister from India - and while there are no tables to ‘dine-in’, patrons flock here, standing up while having their meal. Each time I’ve been there to order a takeaway, I had to wait at least 15 mins, simply because there were so many orders constantly streaming in.
By evening, almost everything gets sold out- including Michelle’s favourite Vadai.
I have tried their Hyderabadi Briyani, Ghee Dosa, Sambar Idly and Chicken Curry - absolutely loved it. For its prices, I am quite sure you won’t find a more affordable and better deal in all of Newcastle (this is based on my limited knowledge 😅)- Food

The most delicious chutney and masala dosa I’ve had, really loved the rich chutney which had an amazing nutty flavour! The sambar was amazing as well. It was a perfect pairing for the masala dosa

Biriyani is Awesome. You will be wondering where is the restaurant while arriving at the location. Actually it’s a small outlet like thattukada. Food is really good. You can have it there or you can parcel it.

We had the lamb biriyani here which was absolutely delicious and one of the best in the city. We wanted to try the chicken biriyani which was already over by evening. Hoping to try dosas from here.

It’s the best spot if you wanna feel the taste of dosa from back home. It’s budget friendly and it fills your tummy and heart. Love all their dosas , paniyaram, iddli and also the fry piece biriyani ❤️ Sambar is also good quality. Just wish the place was a lil bigger because if it’s busy waiting time is a bit high. Food is really worth for every penny you spend. Staffs are really accommodating and friendly.
House of Hyderabad serves some of the best Indian food in the area. Their idly is incredibly light and fluffy, perfectly complementing the flavorful sambar. The vada is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a true delight. I highly recommend trying their idly and sambar vada combination for an authentic South Indian experience. The overall quality and taste make it a must-visit for any Indian food enthusiast.

Nice (south) indian food, quite cheap. I've tried it so many times and never left disappointed. If you're on budget, and are craving good spicy Indian food, should definitely try it.

By far the tastiest Indian food i've had the pleasure to eat in the toon. Only thing missing are half a dozen friendly strays and every passing vehicle beeping their horn in appreciation and you could be in India. Food, service and prices hard to beat

I had an amazing experience at House of Hyderabad! The dosa and idli sambar were absolutely delicious. The lady who served us was incredibly sweet and attentive. I'm impressed by the affordability of their scrumptious South Indian dishes. If you're a fan of authentic flavors, this is the place to be. Their location in Fenham makes it convenient too. Highly recommended!
Food is always freshly prepared. Really tasty Dosas and other South Indian dishes. Very reasonable prices for Dosas, I think one of the cheapest in North East England. Really good for students. Owner informed me that they bring the authentic spices from Hyderabad, India. Loved freshly prepared tasty Dosas.
